First Sight

The time doesn't bother me
Waiting for hours
Just to see you from a distance
Never knowing your schedule
Just that I saw you once there
And the feeling has never went away
Not a stalker
Approaching you would be a crime
Just adoring from afar
But today you are not walking
You are running
Towards me
And my heart is racing so fast
With a panick so overpowering
That what I could explain
As just a bench I liked to sit at
Did not enter my head
As you neared you slowed
Looked into my eyes
Before I turned away
Petrified
And then you waited
Just as I had been doing for days on end

But my nerve failed me
