He watches his step
Because the ground is not flat
Trying to reach her
On the top of the world
Is any one else seeing what he sees
A damsel in distress
Or is it another illusion
Since she long ago fell from grace
He's painted himself a picture
Of how perfect it could be
As she makes her way down on her own
And just walks by
