She always was different
In every way possible
But it wasn't just coincidence
It was an effort
She felt it herself
Unsimilar
Unreminiscent
And any reminder
Was a fault
That must be undone
To keep the difference alive
For just a few more days
And after years and years
The effort slowed
No amount of trying
Could ever bring her back
The blunt hollow person
Who stood tall
Proud of being called wierd
Sticking out
Being socially innept
With a foot in her mouth
As she took everything too far
Always with far too much information
That could never be matched
In love
And loved back
Yet still alone
Isolated purposefully
To prove to herself
That it could be done
And now
Even God
Misunderstood her

Wow - I feel so sorry for her.
A very well-constructed piece of writing. I would expect no less from you.
Very moving. Powerful ending.
Hi Chris! Really tender poem -- there is so much feeling in this. I really feel for this woman and what she has gone through.
