Time off

Did someone say vacation
I think I prefer
To take my time off
To catch up
And maybe relax
At my home
No need for exotic destinations
Where I can pretend
To be someone else
For a few days
Piling up bills
On top of the mound
Of problems
I could have solved
At home
We take for granted
That home has a definition
That should be adjusted
Not only where you spend
Most of your time
But more of your waking hours
Instead of a springboard for work
And a crash site for sleep
