I really like the second -- a very potent image.
Like these both - the first one's full of crossed-fingers hope and the second one sure tells about the lack of color in the drought areas...noticed that yesterday, here.
The first one is a wonderful image of family and the second is more serious. I like both.
So simple, but not something I'd noticed: the leaves without color. Excellent haiku.
