Compare and Contrast-One Deep Breath

Unborn babies sit
Inside mothers side by side
Time will change it all

Starting similar
Growing different every day
Two children emerge

Nature and Nurture
Both take their place so quickly
Nothing is the same

Great choice of comparison, contrast. Nicely written!

The first one gave me quite a thoughtful pause ... :-)

I really like the image in the first one of the unborn babies sitting side by side -- it gave me a wonderful visual. And how true that 2 children will be so different, even if they are twins.

It is amazing how siblings, and even twins, turn out so incredibly different. I enjoyed your haiku poems - thank you!

Hi Chris,
It's been awhile... These are lovely haiku, how they flow together so well. The first one especially caught my eye. I find it interesting how children have such distinct personalities, even from birth.
