Each day a few more
Add to the pool
That is forming
Those tears that I hold back
You somehow absorb them
Transfer them from me to you
Like a teleportation
Beam them up
From my eyes to your gut
I fear one day
I will be so upset inside
That the tears will drown you
And I will be left with nothing
But a silent friend
And a guilt that I cannot escape
