Time as slow

As honey rolling down

The side of that familiar bear bottle

Yet I make flash steps

Seeming to teleport

In my own world

From here to there

Others comment on the speed

Of days and weeks passing by

While seconds seems years to me

This desire to stay busy

To constantly amuse myself

Only worsens the agony

Of staying sober

And not letting addiction

Take me out for another ride
