Last Night

Last night something didn't go my way
And of course I had something to say
It wasn't proper nor was it pleasant
But I wasn't really present
One little thing wasn't right with me
And I had to run and shout atop a tree
As far as I could get my voice to reach
Because I've evolved into a leach
The comments back I must receive
Or I fear that I will forget to breath
And out comes that side so manic
That I close up and get a panic
Now this is where it gets all tricky
Finding words without being picky
To keep up this stupid rhyme
Wastes the inspiration, too much time
Again I must apologize
Because I jumped and believed lies
All the fault I gladly wrote
I guess I'll end it on that note
