Multiple Choice

Remembering childhood
Longing for a time
When things are different
Far more open ended
Than this multiple choice world
That never had a real alternative
Only forced decisions
In disguise
Picking between one to three
When needing four
This lose lose situation
Had to have a way out
But staying inside the limits
The rules of life
Never let this happen
The real test
Is to know when to give up
Rip apart the exam
To open the door to freedom
And become an answer
