There once was a man from Nantucket...jk

Billy boy sat in the back of class
Everyone thought he was quite the ass
His finger was always stuck up his nose
Digging for gold that he wiped on his clothes
We all said he ate them, yes even the snot
Like he was some sort of programed robot
But we needed a plan to find out the truth
Because good ol' Billy boy was a bit of a sleuth
He always was the first one in class each day
The first one at lunch to put up his tray
Yet when the bell rang to let us go home at three
Billy would sit there like he was chained and not free
The idea was we created was a bit complicated
Definitely worth it to prove who we hated
Sat there in the back where no one could see
Chewing away at his nose discharge with glee
Into the school at dusk through a window we thought
Left unlocked in advance to make sure we weren't caught
One by one we all entered to see all at once
If Billy boy was really a dunce
Inching closer to the desk with flashlights in hand
A few left outside to yell on demand
If anyone happened to see from the light
That something was going on, and it was not right
We pulled back his chair and bent over with care
The first of us stopped and continued to stare
The underside of the desk from the front to the back
Was covered in nose goblins ready to attack
Instead of eating them he'd done something worse
Left them all together and then cast a curse
After the weekend, all now back at school
Thinking to ourselves that we were so cool
Walked into class and soon discovered
So many boogers, we almost were smothered
Multiplied so that every square inch was covered
Then Billy spoke up as he laughed out and sputtered
"Sometimes when you play with fire you get burned
I hope a stern lesson all of you have learned
While myself and my nose were all you could see
You failed this last class to earn your degree
Time to grow up now, this isn't first grade
It's college", and graduated he went off to get paid
Without competition he got the best job
And they started class over with the rest of the mob
